S.W.I.T.C.H - SKATERS WITH INTENT TO CHANGE 2024

With renowned guest speakers, this upcoming panel event will be a live guided discussion regarding the intersectionality of ability, mental health, recovery, gender and the positive social impact of the act of skateboarding. From one’s personal journey of re-discovering skateboarding after their loss of vision, skateboarding’s evidence-based use in the treatment of childhood trauma, skateboarding’s role in recovery from addiction, and becoming the first female street skater to grace the cover of Thrasher Magazine, this will not be a conversation to miss! The 40 minute discussion will be followed by a 20 minute Q&A.

Featuring panelists: Joel Pippus (@pushtoheal), Dan Mancina (@danthemancina), Brandon Turner (@bturner), and Jaime Reyes (@_jaime_reyes). Curated by Everett Tetz (@mrtetz) and Kanten Russell (@kantenrussell) of New Line Skateparks.  This event will be on July 12th in Sioux Falls, SD as part of Let's Skate's first grand opening celebration of the Barb Iverson Skate Plaze in the weekend of July 11 - 13th, 2024.

Will post a video link on this post once it becomes available. Please check out their previous S.W.I.T.C.H panel held in 'Vancouver' below...
